Appointments

1. Do I have to make an appointment?
Not at all! Walk-ins are ALWAYS welcome as long as our doors are open. Just keep in mind that if you want to see a specific person (i.e. Jeannette) and that person has appointments, you will have to be fit in after the appointments are done. There will be a much smaller wait if you call and make an appointment OR decide to see one of the other tax preparers.

2. How can I go about making an appointment?
Several different ways!  You can...

Call us at (361) 887-6665...
Book an appointment on "BOOK APPOINTMENT" page...
Or just come in and schedule an appointment with us in person!

4. What are your fees?
Fees vary depending on your tax needs. That is something that will need to be evaluated by the tax preparer. Once evaluated, they will discuss the fee.

5. Will the fee need to be paid up front?
Absolutely not!  The fee will be deducted from your refund. Unless you want to pay up front, which if the case, can be discussed between you and the manager.

6. What if, after the evaluation, I decide not to utilize J&G's services?
Since we do not ask for fees up front but rather deduct it from the refund, if you do go through the tax preparers evaluation, and you decide you do not want to utilize our services, we will charge a one time fee of $50 up front. After all, it can be a time consuming process...

Customer Service

1. Will I be refused service for any reason?
It isn't common practice but we do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If people are being disrespectful to other customers, causing issues with our staff, vandalizing our offices, or any other unsafe or uncommon behaviors, we will ask you to leave. We also ask, while 100% welcome in our offices, that you please keep your children with you at all time.  After all, it is a business.

2. Do you have vending machines?
We do not have a conventional vending machine that you would see in front of supermarkets, but we do offer snacks, chips, candy bars, sodas, and water for a nominal fee. Everything is well priced and if you need change, feel free to ask!
